The primary function of the Manager is to support and execute daily operations and engage with other restaurant functions (Hospitality, Kitchen, Marketing, Catering, etc.) to ensure daily and strategic goals are met.  The Kitchen is the heart of the restaurant, the Front Counter is the front line of engagement with guests – these roles require leaders foster common goals, coach the team, and work in a fast pace environment, all while ensuring the highest Chick-fil-A quality standards are met.  Quick-thinking, emotional intelligence, and rigorous adherence to process, food safely, and cleanliness are a must for this position. The selected Manager(s) will be of strong character, reliable, able to lead a diverse and dynamic team, and help us continue building a caring culture.

General Responsibilities:

·       Foster strong working relationship with Managers and Directors in pursuit of excellence in  Operations and Financial Management

·       Reinforces the Chick-fil-A CORE 4, H.E.A.R.D., and Delivering Second Mile Service

·       Coach the behaviors of team members to meet service models

·       Ensure team members are in compliance with grooming and work preparedness standards

·       Strict adherence to food safety standards, Chick-fil-A procedures and guidelines 

·       Supervision of team members to include scheduling and performance management 

·       Motivating team members during demanding service periods

·       Managing stock and helping to ensure that stations stay stocked during service

·       Keep accurate records and adhere to all checklists

·       Ensure cleanliness standards are rigorously maintained  

·       Ensure proper use of all equipment and associated maintenance 

·       Ensure safety standards are followed by all employees 

·       Maintains high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety

·       Oversee speed of service and completion of goals

·       Protect and promote the guest experience by ensuring packaging food presentation quality

·       Financial Stewardship management through Food Cost, Labor Costs, and Repairs and Maintenance

·       Ensure financial stewardship measures are taking place and maintained throughout the restaurant

·       Approve the quality of established opening and closing procedures

·       Responds to customer concerns

·       Inventory end-of-month counts, ordering, and management to ensure adequate stock to meet sales          and guest demands 

·       Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications (Required): 

·       Bachelors or Culinary Arts degree

·       Strong Ability to solve complex problems 

·       Leadership experience with references

·       Available to work full shift - 2:30pm – close (Including Saturdays)

·       Understand and perform to Chick-fil-A customer service standards

·       Consistently executes procedures with excellence

·       Knowledge of Microsoft office and other common business applications 

·       Self-directed and highly organized

·       Mature and dependable

·       Ability to motivate others

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s, Culinary Arts degree, or equivalent experience 

·       Prior Chick-fil-A experience in a manager/leadership role a plus with references

·       Leadership experience in Quick Serve food service kitchen operations with references

·       Bilingual: English and Spanish
